Hugh O'Conor is an Irish actor, writer, and director who began his career at the age of eight. He is best known for his roles in Lamb (1985), My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown (1989), The Three Musketeers (1993), and The Young Poisoner's Handbook (1995). He has appeared in several dark big-screen dramas, playing the lead as a child in many of them. O'Conor's first starring role was in The Young Poisoner's Handbook, a dark British comedy based on a true story. He has also appeared in Red Hot (1993), playing a teen trying to form a rock band in 1959 Russia.
